Moving Towards People

The Church was never meant to simply gather together on Sundays. We are called to invest in people, build relationships, and make disciples. Jesus showed us that discipleship happens through intentionally doing life together, walking alongside eachother, and encouraging eachother to grow in Christ.

In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus commands us to go and make disciples. This isn't a calling reserved for pastors or church leaders. It's a responsibility given to every believer. But we cannot invest in people if we aren't willing to move toward them.

Are we making room in our lives to disciple others, or have we become too busy with our own interests? Jesus has given us the authority to make disciples and promised His presence as we do it. The question is, what are we going to do with what He's given us?
